Philanthropy

Another driving force behind our brand values is our commitment to education and female empowerment. We are proud to have partnered with grass-roots charity Momtaj Foundation, an incredible and unique organisation dedicated to uplifting single-female parent families in developing countries. Improving nutrition, education, health, and overall quality of life. We have committed a portion of our revenues to The Momtaj Foundation to continue to support ongoing projects.

Meet Our Founders

Faiza and Syed identified a significant gap in the market for skincare solutions that are both science-backed and efficacy-led through inclusive design developed for melanin skin’s nuances that is suitable for all skin tones. This mutual understanding and determination to address this need forged their partnership. Their vision, born from personal experiences and a relentless pursuit of excellence, reflects a burning desire to make a difference in the skincare and wellness industry inclusively for all skin tones.

Over years of development, testing, reformulating and perfecting they are now ready to share the first innovation within the NEX range, the NEX Moisturiser. Powered by the proprietary Nano Encapsulation Matrix delivery system. Ensuring the product innovations are inclusive is the reason our brand exists, the proprietary delivery system is the unique driving force behind our products working so effectively. NEX SKINCARE is more than a symbol of scientific innovation and luxury in the beauty industry, it is a testament to the passion, dedication and a profound purpose of its co-founders.

Introducing Faiza Hussain, Co-Founder & Head of Innovation

An expert in cosmetic science whose passion for skincare is matched by her commitment to innovation and inclusivity.

Faiza has an MSc in Cosmetic Science, an MA in Safety Assessments and Toxicology and further experience and education in advanced anti-ageing solutions and organic skincare formulations. Faiza has worked with some of the most advanced laboratories globally to develop high-tech, clinically backed formulas and biotech-driven innovations. Playing a key role in launching hundreds of products, including many household brands taken to market by industry leaders.

Her journey, however, started from as young as the age of eight, where she was fascinated with skin health, winning BBC Blue Peter competitions for writing articles on dry skin and eczema and how food impacts our skin. From battling teenage acne to addressing the nuances associated with melanin-inclusive skin, science drives her commitment to developing solutions that genuinely work.

Skincare has always been a personal passion of mine. My journey began with teenage acne and over the years, I faced the additional challenge of finding effective products that would manage melanin skin nuances like mine...This experience has driven me to expertly formulate solutions that enhance skin longevity and address the unique needs of my skin.” -Faiza Hussain

Syed brings over twenty years of experience in business strategy, commercialising IP based technology, raising capital and international scale.

Caroline Finn

Caroline has 20+ years experience working with some of the leading beauty brands. She met Faiza and Syed as they were developing the brand and positioning and was struck by their passion for inclusivity and impressed by the science behind the product and how effective it is. She works with the team to evolve the brand strategy and direction and ensure that the NEX Skincare customer is at the heart of everything we develop and every decision we make for our brand.

Saif Pathan

Saif brings global market knowledge with 20+ years of executive experience in luxury and premium beauty brands. He works with the team to support their vision for growth and passion and ensure that we are always bringing the most unique approach to our skincare innovation.
